St. Louis, Missouri

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you believe?
We are an open and affirming congregation. We believe that every person is a child of God and all are welcome regardless of race, economic background, marital status, gender or sexual orientation, age, physical or mental ability, nationality or faith history. It is our mission, inspired by God’s Holy Spirit, to engage persons in living out the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What can I expect?
Our worship services lean toward the more traditional style of worship. We follow the traditional liturgical calendar (Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, Pentecost, etc.). Open Communion (all are welcome at Christ’s table) is celebrated the first Sunday of each month in both services.

The 8:15 service is a small, casual service held in our chapel. The intimacy of the worship space allows all to greet one another and share fellowship time afterwards with coffee and donuts. The 4th Sunday of the month is a Taizé service. Click here for infomation on Taizé.

The 10:30 service has a larger attendance and takes place in the main sanctuary. In addition to thought-provoking sermons, this service highlights our various music ministries which include adult, family, youth, children's and handbell choirs, percussion and our Harrison and Harrison pipe organ.

Do you have a dress code?
Regardless of what you wear, you are welcome to worship with us. There are those who wear dresses and coats and ties and those who wear shirts, jeans, and shorts.

Is childcare available?
Childcare is provided from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The Nursery cares for infants up to 18 months and the Toddlers class is for 18 months to 3 years.

Is your facility handicap/wheelchair accessible?
