2015 Habitat for Humanity

Habitat_LogoThis year the UCC Habitat group, of which Hope is a part, has been selected to rehab an existing home in Florissant.

Homeowner Information
Candice, the owner of the home currently being worked on by the UCC Habitat group, has made a commitment to create a better life for herself and her three children, ages 13 to 20. With the eldest in college and two younger children on the same path towards success, the promise of a home to call their own is an opportunity for Candice and her kids to continue building on the strong foundation of love and hope that has taken them to this new and bright chapter in their lives.

Candice has her associate’s degree in Early Child Care Education and currently works at a crisis nursery and a local child care center for at-risk youth. She hopes to continue her education and work towards a bachelor’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis on helping kids. She is very active in her church – singing in the choir and acting as supervisor for two youth groups.

Sunday, November 15
Hope has pledged $1,000 to Habitat for Humanity again this year. A special offering envelope will be included in this Sunday’s bulletin.

This is Hope’s build day. We will be working on a flooring project. A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board outside the church office and online.

Please keep Hope’s tradition of supporting this cause going by donating your time and talents and by contributing generously to exceed our pledge goal.
